Re: R1200S DOHC Project

Yeah, a 1300 big bore would be interesting but not necessary. Looking forward to the outcome.

Re: R1200S DOHC Project

I think that was 'Humbug'. Well known here. I loved my S and owned it 11yrs. I always thought a twin cam version would be superb. Are you going to tweak the motor to get the 120hp of the 'twin spark'

Triumph Speed Twin

On the off chance anyone here is interested or knows anyone who is: I’m selling my Speed Twin. It’s a nice one and comes with some nice extras. . https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53028131890_8f11951613_z.jpg 701B8E63-063D-4237-8DAD-11A4CC72CBA6 by . . , on Flickr https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/166199...

Re: I’m officially middle aged apparently

I always laugh at the "GS Bleuch! - everyone's got one!" brigade....................... There is a reason for the popularity - stuningly capable bikes. The latest ones with the electronic shocks are getting a bit of a panning just now, so having the older simpler ones is a bonus I reckon....

Yep just my 200 mile ride home from the seller in the filthiest weather we’ve seen this year proved that

Re: I’m officially middle aged apparently

Nice looking example Steve, hope you’re enjoying it and riding it around La Belle France :D I’m still persevering with my 12s, bloody uncomfortable sometimes but utterly brilliant on a Boxertrix weekend as you know . My weekend was 681 miles door to door with I suppose 75% superb the rest bei...

Re: I’m officially middle aged apparently

At 64 I’ll settle for middle aged! I started on the same route as you a few years ago when my 1100s became painful to ride, I have had surgery on both knees and had nerves rerouted in both arms and despite raising the bars and lowering the footrests I still wasn’t comfortable on the bike and like y...

I’m officially middle aged apparently

I couldn’t ride the 12S any more after 11yrs of ownership but I just can’t get away from that magnificent engine. I Live in France now and have bought here but prices are much more than in the U.K. 2011 and 27k miles. £8500. I could get the same for £7k in the U.K. https://live.staticflickr.com/6553...

Zard end can for R1200S SOLD PENDING THE USUAL

I thought I’d mistakenly sent this to France at the end of ‘21 with the rest of my belongings but rummaging through my folks loft it transpires I didn’t. Great condition. Great sound and the best looking tail pipe for the 1200S Everything is there including the original box although the packaging is...

R1200S Ventura rack

This is the rails, the grab handle and the ‘Evo Rack’ bag mount frame. It’s the original ‘one piece’ frame and not the new adjustable ‘one model fits all’ from Ventura. Good clean used condition. I love this kit for bikes that won’t take a top box. I’ve also had them on my 1100S and my Griso. They’v...

Re: R1200S for sale £4650

A bump for 2023. Yes I still have it. I was in France for the end of 22 so it sat in the garage. I’ll be available from 31st of Jan if anyone fancies a look.

Re: R1200S for sale

A bump and price drop as I’m back in the U.K. for a few weeks as of 21st. Although seeing as Hayden has his almost identical model for sale and is struggling to move it, it seems a little pointless. Too ‘niche’ and wrong end of the year now I guess.
