Meta system alarm - location on bike

I've searched previous posts and couldn't find an answer, so wondered if anyone knew where a Meta System (probably factory fitted) alarm might be located on a 2004 BCR? We've had a quick look under the seat with no luck and guess it must be under the tank, but does anyone know if this is correct and...

BMW R1200S to return?

Just wanted the bring the Visordown article below to everyone's attention. It describes a possible return of the R 1200S.

MCN Feature on BCR

Just wondered if anyone else had seen the post on the MCN website calling for owners to get in touch about a forthcoming MCN feature on the Boxer Cup?

Just wanted to say thanks for the link to the vulcan XH558 website. Can't believe 2015 might be the last year it will fly. Happy to make a pledge to make sure it has a final flying season. Thanks for the heads up because wouldn't have known about it otherwise.

I do sympathise. I dropped my BCR a while ago. It was a silly mistake. I replaced the carbon cylinder cover thanks to a member of this forum and was lucky that the rest of the damage was very minor. I might get a couple of bits from moto-works just to get it back to standard. Anyway, just wanted to ...

I bought a Versys when I was commuting to work every day after my GS packed up and needed something in a hurry. I had previously thought it looked pretty good and all the reviews at the time were very positive. I fitted a top box, heated grips and scot oiler. It did everything I asked of it and was ...

Although I look at Boxertrix pretty regularly I'm not a regular contributor- never really have much to say! However I just wanted to say how much I agree/ rate the the 1200R classic. I fitted the colour- matched trophy fairing which I think looks great and was easy to fit. I agree it's terrific fun ...

BMW 30th Anniversary

Hi, although not a regular poster I'm always interested in what everyone has to say and when I've asked for advice it's always been spot on. Anyway, I just wondered what you all think of BMW's plans for 2013 and what this bike might be like, or even what you'd like it to be. The sketch looks great! ...

After years of trying different gloves, combinations of gloves etc. the best ones I've used are made by BMW. I seem to remember the salesman talking about polyphase materials, but whatever the construction they're the best I've ever had. They have leather on the palms and draw-strings on the wrist. ...

Hi Nick I'm new to Boxertrix too. I have a R1100RS that I use everyday. I must admit I think the RS is a great bike. It really can handle anything - track days, commuting, holidays etc. and it's looks do grow on you! Mine's just coming 'round to 78k with no problems (famous last words). Hope you hav...

Hi Paul Our R1200S is Shine Yellow, not our preferred colour, but North Oxford were doing a good deal on their ex-demonstrator. I think I'm going to have to get a hugger for it because the rear shock seems to get filthy on each ride. Any suggestions for suppliers? It would be good to meet up, maybe ...

Thanks for the replies. No, it's not me with a simpson although I did always want one. I usually use a blue shoei for work and a schwantz replica on the 1200S. I would love a spencer replica like I used to have, but apparently no plans from arai to produce one in the near future. I'm based in Benson...
