Re: My 2004 R1100S Diary

At 6'1" I'd lower the pegs to get the benefit from the raised bars. It lessens the amount of knee and ankle bend required.

Re: Bulb fitting ....

A very good tip I struggled and used the polystyrene bulb wrapper but that was still a bit too short. I'll add a bit o hose to my under seat kit. Call me dense but I only discovered last week that my 09 RT does not have double filament stop / tail lamps (the Rear lamp has two bulbs) only single fila...

Re: *** Welsh Weekend 2019 *** - IS Done :D

Hi Steve Sadly won't be coming as I am just back from our local club's annual trip to Welsh roads (From Essex) I'll be posting a ride report later when I have had a chance to gather photos together. We gave up trying to find local hotels to fit up to 25 people in Wales and we also gave up trying to ...

If you like the way it rides leave them alone- If you replace or get the knobs working you'll only introduce self doubt, un-reconciled fears and confusion :D

The Canary Islands are in the Atlantic not Pacific Ocean - clearly an American quiz as they shouldn’t spell “colour” either. :bounce:

Note of caution: Removing the rear sub frame is not a doddle getting it un-threaded from the brake pipes (which the Haynes manual tells you to take off thereby giving you another headache when you put them back on [bleeding] especially if you have ABS and servo brakes. So think before you rush into...

Re: Battery charger connection

I had a similar problem. the Dealer had fitted a charger tail to the battery it had a black plug with a red rubber cap - My low end optimate came with a white Nylon plug. So I bought some new nylon plugs from e bay and changed the plug on the tail from the battery. This now matches a wire from a pow...
