Thanks for the reply. It was my inattention during removal. Evidently the allen head bolt fits neatly into the larger side of the shock mount tab! guess I need to slow down a bit.

I've been servicing my new to me (second time around) R1200S and have found a slight issue. I have the rear shock off and have noticed the upper frame shock mount has a larger diameter mount hole on one side. Just the rear lights up. Fitment of the blinker itself was straightforward and easy. Two "load boxes" which let the bike see the blinkers and step down the voltage was a little troublesome. I mounted the boxes under the stock blinker and plate holder (just enough room). If you have a after...

Could just be the photo, but the left fork and left side of triple clamp looks lower. That would explain your fender being off.

They hadn't posted any info as of today, but the owner told me appx. $250 US. I didn't fit them, but I did install a set of their bars on a SV650S today. Good instructions come with the kit.
