Time to quit :(

I'm posting this with a heavy heart.. :( Motorcycles take up too much of my time, so I am giving away a lot of my things, as I no longer have the desire to do anything with them. It is a lot of work with very little recognition and I am extremely tired...:( Please don't ask any questions, as I can't...

Constructive day ..

Well another busy but constructive Monday, with the help of Paul Davies (WW tail end Charlie) again. This weeks jobs were to fit the stainless collector box to the R80RS as the original was rotten. Thankfully it wasn't the "mare" of a job I'd feared! The R80RS now burbles away like a good ...

Re: Bonding with the K1

I was off on Monday so me and Paul Davies (WW TEC) put the bike up on the ramp and spent the day servicing it and generally fettling. First task was the speedo wasn't working, the previous owner have cracked the tacho lens so water had got in. Upon removing I was shocked when dismantling the console...

Re: Self Indulgence .....

Well done Steve! Do you find you feel generally 'better' having cut the carbs out? A friend recommended that I give it a whirl after he came down from a ginormous 28st to 17st doing it. I tried it for a while, around 6 weeks, lost around a stone....and felt better than I'd felt in ages - a lot less...

Self Indulgence .....

sorry guys but a little self indulgence on my part … since being blue lit into hospital with pneumonia a few months ago it served as a wake up call to coming home and having chips, beans and [variation] was not going to be a good long term strategy. So I decided to diet (no carbs, one meal a day) so...

Re: F800GT

there's a chance that with a bit of creative-ness you could fit a camel tank, the GS variant has a kit available and as they have a similar setup it could possibly be done

Not been checking..... at the moment I'm using my sat nav as a speedo as the clocks have succumbed to the K misted clocks. Got a replacement set to put on when I get a bit of time :)

Re: Key problem

If you take your V5 and proof of ID into your local dealer they can order a key for you.

If I lose a key it's often in the pocket of the last jacket I was wearing :D

Bonding with the K1

Today has been a great ride out day to get familiar with the K1. Absolutely loving it, it's a bit of a flyer, covering ground quickly and efficiently. The ride is similar to the K100RS's I've had in the past but with a bit more sportiness to it. Handles very well, brakes are awesome all told a fun d...

Re: Navigator 5 vs Navigator 6

Navigator 6 has a slightly larger "blingier" screen, it has a built in function to select a random return ride for a specified time. The main difference is the Nav 6 allows music to be streamed from a smart phone and has larger internal memory for maps. They both feature a microSD card slo...
