Just in case anyone is venturing over soon.

I am under no illusion as to how lucky I was with the outcome. Nearly 100k on the 1200S and not a scratch, 10k on the RC8 and this is the end resul...

Re: Europe tour advice

Last time we used the Peage I just used my bank card no need to input the pin it just read it and away, that was 2019 I dare say that they’ve been upgraded by now to contactless. So all you need is a handy safe place to keep it. Just keep an eye on which class of vehicle they charge for, but a quic...

Re: Mulling over ...

The HP2s is ‘special’…………. Been threatening to sell mine for last couple of years, now - as I just seldom get a chance to ride it. Now - all standard apart from the HP4 mirrors. Think the mileage is still below 6k and still qualifies for BMW warranty, I believe. I guess you have ridden one before, ...

Re: Ex RC8

Six broken ribs, two fractures to the pelvis, ankle fracture, both thumbs fractured, one with detached tendon, amnesia and soft tissue injuries to both knees but apart from that i'm fine. At least I got a ride in a helicopter, just sad I wasn't conscious enough to enjoy it. 5 weeks on and I am up a...
