Re: Welsh Weekend 2024

The Hand have been in touch to say they have a couple of rooms still available, I've told them if they're not booked by us by close of play this Sunday they can be released for sale to the public so if you know anyone whose still not booked give them a nudge :)

Re: All Change.....

 Blimey Steve, KTM was short lived, good luck with the Triumph gig hopefully hear all about it in May We were KTM for two years but the current trading climate was tough. But my understanding was we were operating well but the Harley side was dragging us down. We were selling 300 bikes a yea...

Re: Hibernation

Had a spin over to the cat and fiddle to Matlock to try out my Xmas present a new GoPro

Went very steady, combination of average cameras and humongous pot holes.

 Blimey Steve, KTM was short lived, good luck with the Triumph gig hopefully hear all about it in May Have to admit - I had an itch for a 1290GT, but the KTM niggles and infrastructure ultimately put me off. They make some great bikes, but I don't think they get the volume. The 1290SA 'seems...

Re: All Change.....

Good for you! (at least you're not trying to sell Harleys) Triumph make great bikes. Thought you might have been thinking about retirement? Triumph have offered me part time which I'd been after for ages. I'm in receipt of a small company pension from a previous employer and in June will get state ...

All Change.....

So, things have not been good at work since returning after Xmas. It all came to a head this week and the bank came in and stopped us trading, meaning we've been twiddling our thumbs all week. We've been told there's a staff meeting at 11 so we're expecting the worst. In anticipation of that I pre-e...

Re: Wallet cleaning..

What have you got planned bikewise - this year, Steve? Bol d'Or again? Hi Al, Well my birthday in June represents my 50th anniversary for riding motorbikes. I've worked out I've ridden between 1,000,000 and 1.25 million miles on every continent except Antarctica, so I'm quite excited to be hitting ...

Re: Additional Lights Mind Games...

I fitted some of the BMW spots available on eBay onto my 800GS and can confirm they're exactly the same units as offered by BMW, with the advantage that they were £50 a pair instead of the £450 a set from BMW plus they have some nice universal mounts. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304528952756 I bought...

Re: Hello All

Hi there everyone, just bought a2000 Mandarin R1100s after keeping an eye out for one for a while. Low miles on the clock, fairly good condition. the engine was a bit noisy, replaced L/H CCT which helped but the R/H throttle body needs doing too, (would that be normal with an 18k bike?). I'm based ...
