Re: Work trip ....

Nice one Steve,
My son and I took our 2 x K100RS to the TT this year and had plenty of attention. Bikes were superb all the way from South Coast to Liverpool and over the Mountain too

Re: Am I missing something

Cheers Al, that's reassuring - the group of four seemed to do a nice brisk overtake in a controlled manner. I'd be interested to know any ROSPA or IAM oberserver views

Am I missing something

https://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/police-drones/

In the video clip supporting this story there are various clips of antisocial and illegal riding. I've watched them twcie and apart from the obvious white line in clip one they others don't seem bad to me - am I missing something ?

Re: My 2004 R1100S Diary

Without doubt the best ever paint scheme. The Bumblebee was a good warm up but this was the 1100S pinnacle . Loved mine just as much :D ( also had to replace the starter motor :? )

Re: City Lids

That generation of panniers were superb. The modern BMW panniers are much less versatile, and much less resilient to day to day use with a smooth paint finish and light colours.. When the Special escort group bought R1200RS as a fleet bike they literally cut the panniers to pieces and rivted the lid...

Help needed from EU resident

Hi to anyone good enough to read this post. I am looking for a bit of help from someone living in mainland Europe. I have a Schuberth S2 sport, great helmet but need some spare parts for the lining (cheek pads and neck collar). Internet and supplier search reveals that no-one in the UK has the bits,...

Re: Buying from Germany Rant

Same experience with a crash helmet despite retailers website saying parcel would be marked 'helmet' and recognised as zero-rated. I had never done it before, but as the colourway that I wanted in the helmet I wanted was only available across the Channel I ordered from a well known supplier. 7 days ...

Re: Sena 10U

I'm at a simlar point in relation to a new helmet. I have had my beloved Schuberth S2 sport since 2015 with Sena 10u comms - great kit. Helmet now old and a bit grotty. Been trying stuff on and settled on C4 procarbon with new bespoke comms which is semi-preinstalled. Overall cost £600 plus a few qu...

Re: Wanted: R1200s silver pillion seat cover!

I remember that the seat on my 1200S was like a plank of wood and the price of that has gone up - a lot :D
