Re: Sad News

Hi Peter, so,so sad to hear of Alan's passing, he was a real larger than life character who both Julie and I had a great deal of affection for, he will be sadly missed by all, but fondly remembered by those of us who had enjoyed his company on so many trixter weekends. Our heartfelt condolences to y...

Re: Mamola Boxercup v BCR seat height

IIRC the torque arm is the same (365mm?) on the Mamola and BCR, Mamola has a shorter shock bottom stem, and the RWB BCR has a much taller one, along with a taller seat profile. so easiest way to lower the BCR to the same as a Mamola is to fit a std seat and an adjustable aftermarket shock or a Mamol...

Re: Fuel

Off to Italy on the 11S just wondering about what fuel to use? Should I avoid using E10. The bike is a 2000 model with 7000 miles on the clock. ? So its an 11S then? if so just put in whatever is cheapest, I have to say that my R12S runs much nicer, smoother and happier on premium 97/98/99 and fuel...

Re: BCR starting problem

Hi Rob, 1st thing that I would check is that the fuel pump primes? no prime + battery problem. HTH

Re: To cam or not to cam?

I have considered / am considering this setup, http://www.nortek.co.uk/bike-bro-dual-camera-motorcycle-dvr/ it works like your car dash cam but with both front and rear cams. The one in the link is branded Nortek, but ebay searches show the same item available for a fraction of the cost from china. ...

Not at all, it was £350 when I had mine done, and if you return with another bike you get it discounted to £250 IIRC.

Re: ECU REMAPPING

After some deliberation I went with Hilltop for my R1200S, and I could not be more pleased with the result, it is so much more responsive and I reckon its the best money I ever spent on my bike. Do I believe the claimed hp and torque increases? frankly I have no way of telling other than the bike fe...
