Re: Various R12S parts for sale

Re: Various R12S parts for sale

Is the exhaust system still for sale? If so then I have a question: It looks like the headers have done away with the catalytic converter. The original bracket that holds the exhaust to the underside of the bike has a large diameter to accommodate the catalytic converter. Does this system come with...

Re: 201mph in a RS6 on a Motorway in Britain !

Just clicked over to 202, so devil’s advocate and all that, if that was you on the unrestricted Autobahn with so little traffic YOU wouldn’t

I would no question, and if I was lucky enough to own a ballistic motorcycle capable of that, again I would.

Re: R1200S seat cowl

I should have thought a tube of CT1 would do the trick, waterproof and bonds anything to anything, pricey but good, loads of trade people recommend it.

Re: R1200s Front Engine Cover

I’m sure there’s been plenty of posts with piccies regarding painting the front cover, the original paint is water based iirc which is the part of the problem with the corrosion and the ally cover.

Re: The wanderer returns

I do remember this bit of road near Dorchester, between 2 roundabouts, uphill 2 lane and flat out, my ear was literally next to his zorst bloody marvellous. https://goo.gl/maps/zh27o7eapMFayQQq9 When we got to France the route was Cherbourg St-Lo Vire and plenty of backroads to Le Mans, iirc we had ...
