That’s the best thing with a real life police, they can make a judgmet call, and a good one in your case, where as a camera there and you’d have points plus a fine. We’re you on the Racer ?

There was one person but he has “ehem” departed the forum (thank goodness) but that’s another story, not to be opened today

If that’s your 1100s replacement good choice, I love the paint really sets the bike off :D

Re: Question for someone living in Spain?

I would have thought that as he’s living in Spain he will at some point have to register it for insurance purposes at least, he’ll have to do a bit of number crunching to see if it’s worthwhile.

Re: r1200s - how hot can they go?

When BMW specified Full Synth engine oil I can’t remember the bike having this problem, now it’s on semi synth that’s the only time it seems to have happened BUT it could be I didn’t find myself in that situation or coincidence, but I’m going to have Castrol fully synthetic next service

Re: r1200s - how hot can they go?

I can’t remember seeing that but would assume it’s telling you your near max and once the bike reaches max temp it will stop, not a nice experience I must say, if I’m near that point now I will pull over and switch off, I’d rather that than get stuck in a que of traffi. Re: r1200s - how hot can they go?

When mine gets to max temp it will just stop, always in very slow moving traffic on a warm/hot day, can’t remember seeing any indication other than the blocks but I was just trying to keep her cool so wasn’t paying much attention to anything else

Re: Not the NC500

Superb John, but was the obligatory shot of the worn rear tyre in episode 1 really caused by spirited riding or the size of those panniers
