Re: Additional Lights Mind Games...

I've mounted the lights on an SW Motech light bar - could have gone hard core and bent up a brick tie but decided it would be too agricultural. This sets the spots slightly high so they potentially interfere with the indicators but I'll see how they go before next steps. BUT why does SWM specify th...

Re: Hibernation

I haven't ridden since September, (didn't even clean it when I put away), but I'm sure the Rockster will be fine if I need it. Got another Rockster to re-commission, but right now it's cold out there in the shed and there's infinite better options in the house for things to do in the evenings. But t...

To be fair, the GS had become somewhat more than porculent of late. Although I don't like the looks of the new one, making it lighter can only be a good thing.

Re: Additional Lights Mind Games...

I have Denali S2s (iirc) on a Rockster and I wired them the way I've wired other aux lights in the past. The lights tend to come with their own looms with 3 "end-points": Power live, Relay live, and a shared negative. I simply fitted the power live to the battery directly, the shared negat...

Re: ACF50

I've used ACF-50 for years, at the moment I've got a non-aerosol trigger spray bottle with a larger refill (can't remember where I get it from). It's a good penetrating fluid too, but I generally use it as a rust-preventative for winter commuting: Spray on when the weather deteriorates and leave unt...

I want to at least get it running and see what it's condition is before making any decisions. :D

Well - that was a little unexpected...

Bit of a long story here: Last month I had a bit of an incident in France which ended up with my Rockster looking like this: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53214767533_2e26a18aef_z.jpg On the first day of my trip a van driver with a trailer full of marble (kitchen work tops I think), backed int...

That explains why I can't see any information about the SSL cert! (I did wonder).

Site insecure

I'm getting notifications in Chrome that the boxertrix forum site is "Not secure".

Not sure if the https (SSL) certificate is out of date, or something else, but just wanted to let you know. :)

Hi, welcome!

Looks like a nice project!

Can i just ask, what's the extra guage above the neutral light on your bike and what info is it showing? (Some looks obvious, some not)

[Wanted] Front Mudguard

Does anyone have a spare carbon fibre R1100S front mudguard available to buy?

I had a small incident on my way down to Flash and need a replacement for the Rockster, (same fitment more or less)

Fuel level sensor - How do they work?

On my Rockster I renewed the fuel filter last week as part of a service and since then, the fuel-reserve light has been playing up. Initially it was stuck "on" (ie lit). Even a full tank of fuel didn't change that. But I've now down about 100 miles (commute to the office and back) and duri...
