Looking at September, there are two dates at Snetterton in Sept:

14 Sept Snetterton General Day
28 Sept Snetterton Open Pit Lane Day

I'm thinking that the Open Pit Day would be a great chance to work on some longer runs?

Booked the 4th this afternoon in the inters so we should be in the same group. I don't think there's much chance of much lapping happening, your HP has has the legs on me and the GP circuit has some long runs to it. Anyhow, I'll be coming down on the Wednesday evening and stopping at the track. See ...

Hi fella, I'm looking at Brands in June too. I reckon it'll be the 4th for me - hopefully confirming over the next week or so. As an aside, the day after our BMW day at Cadwell on the 13 July (Monday) there is a general bike trackday (Tuesday). Robert and I are talking about staying up for that and ...

Belly Pan, wheels, shocks and clocks look right, although the final drive angle looks standard...

OT: 2007 R1200GS Wheel Flange Recall

Received today (despite the date on the header). http://damoace.smugmug.com/Motorcycles/BMW-R1200GS/i-GM3ZSvJ/0/XL/IMG_0002%20smudged-XL.jpg It seems that the rear drive flange on 2007 R12GS's may be prone to failure. Luckily I changed the bike for a new Liquid-Cooled one in November last year. Even...

I don't know of any 'holes' in the mapping on the PC3. The whole job of the Commander is to get rid of those things. I have a PC3 Wide band on the mine, coupled with a custom-map created by a tuner that I trust. It solved the problem it was bought for and works a charm. But be clear on this - The cu...

Phone call is the best. They are normally very very busy so the sooner you call them, the sooner your appointment will be. Darren will almost certainly have recommendations, but it's up to you to be able to tell him what you need. Just give him as much info as you can and trust him. You won't be dis...

Hi, The standard OEM shockers are indeed rebuildable. I should imagine that there are plenty of places that will do it for you but I would personally recommend Darren at MC Technics (MCT). http://www.mctsuspension.co.uk/Home.html I've used him to do the job you are asking about. Well worth the money...

Hi Gilles, That's a great find. Complete with the all-too-expensive belly pan too. Just the rear bodywork and fittings to find. The RWB BCR bodywork is less common second-hand but they do turn up every now and then. A good UK resource is Motorworks (http://www.motorworks.co.uk). They dismantle all B...
