Ned, Speaking of just the S models there were no too many changes over the years. My wife has a 2001 and I have a 2004, the main differences are: Brakes. You are correct that most of our supermarket petrol pumps now take UK cards, but with anything other than Nationwide you will pay £1 or £2 transaction charge. That can be quite a lot if you are paying a £3 motorway toll, or 10% on £20 worth of fuel. I sometimes find that my Nationwide card will work...
