If you bought for your own pleasure, then it's up to you. If you got as a investment, then it needs to be race trim. For my part, if I want to invest, I'd buy land or shares. Bikes and cars are to be enjoyed.

The real problem seems to be a lot of dick waving amongst bikers. Hang around any bike meet for a little while, and you'll hear all the heros, with their tales of how they put a two mile gap between themselves and Vallentino. And I'm not talking about 17-18 year olds. No these are grown men that sho...

I echo every word you have just said. Like you I've been riding for 40 years and done some dick head things. My approach to riding now is to ride in a way that expects other road users to do the unexpected. I can't change that, but I can change the way that I ride. Therefore near misses and accident...

Sorry this is really not nice, but hopefully it will help us to ride a little more awareness.

Well I can report that it's a nice bike, but a little over priced. The vendor is not yet fully softened up. But let's leave it a week and see.

It's strange that very little seems to be known about them, but the few that have experience, speak well of them. I'm beginning to believe, that maybe this was a good bike that got under the net, if that make sense.

Yamaha Super Tenere 750

I fancy one of these, as it looks like a good all round bike for, city, national touring and winter. I know that they are long in the tooth (but so am I). Trouble is I don't really know a lot about them. So any knowledgeable comments would be an help.

When I started this thread, I wasn't having a pop at the bikes , just the attitudes of some riders . I love bikes , any thing 2 wheeled . I also take exception to the strange blokes who slag off the Indian & Chinese bikes . Hey man , if a guy likes his Indian made Royal Enfields, so what , he i...

These last few years I've spent 99% of my time riding alone, traveling the length and breath of the country. But being on my bike as meant that I've never been alone. Whenever I've stopped there have been other bikers willing to spend a few minutes of their life with me. They have come from top to b...

That's interesting Vince, I had been led to believe that ROSPA gold was higher than IAM. The problem that I have in honesty, such as this weekend I was out on a long'ish trip. Keeping to the speed limits in towns and villages is fine, but on motorways I ride in the mid to high 80's (real speeds, not...
