Good choice!

It may not be the fastest colour scheme, but I love my "bumblebee"!

Average age

Any advance on 68 years young?

However, age does come with baggage. Two total hip replacements in the last twelve months has meant no riding at all (problems with getting my leg over).

Confession

"Bless me Father, for I have sinned. I have been with a loose girl." The Priest asks, "Is that you, little Johnny Parisi?" "Yes, Father, it is." "And who was the girl you were with?" "I can't tell you, Father. I don't want to ruin her reputation." &q...

Battery

Many thanks indeed to the "godfather" of the Brummie Mafia and his "moll", for providing me with an evening of entertainment to go with my shiny new battery. (I feel as if I could manage a visit to Sicily all on my own now). In answer to LLoyds's question...definitely tall! Well,...

The unit never obscured the clocks and I got used to the key being a bit fiddly. Out of interest, the br...

Many thanks all.
I was rather hoping, as I live in Monmouth, that the "seat man" was going to be in the Bristol area. Nevertheless, I need to do something as at times the tippy toes technique is less than ideal.

Seat height

All this talk of jacking the back of the bike up to improve steering etc. is all very well, but I struggle with the seat height of my bog-standard S. Perhaps those of you who have solved this problem would care to share the solution with me. For instance, iandunn100ss says he has had his seat re-sha...

Gilera SP180 tyres

I am rather hoping that Winger may be able to help me decide which replacement tyres are good for the above.
