WANTED: R1100S Rear Mudguard Extension Piece

I know it goes somewhat against the grain - 'tail untidy' :D - but has someone got one of the original extension pieces (46622328535) lying about they want rid of please?

Your comfort bars have a tang that locates into the front of the top yoke, therefore providing a fixed location.

Re: Givi Tanklock Bags - is the front strap necessary?

In some ways I wish I had gone down the SW Motech route, though as Dave says they are more expensive and there are now 3 different SW Motech tank mount standards - ION, EVO and PRO!

Re: Givi Tanklock Bags - is the front strap necessary?

Thanks all. So no one has had the tank mount fail? I like Paul's point re: if the tank lock mount did fail with it strapped up then what would that do the steering with a single strap fitted? Also noted that all the bags have a 2kg limit! ...... then again so did the renthall rack I used to have and...

Givi Tanklock Bags - is the front strap necessary?

I have a Tanklock bag (EA117) and much to my surprise when it arrived there was a long strap at the front for underneath the headstock....which seems a little to defeat the point! Anyone with experience of using the tanklock system and its security - I'd really like to be able to remove the strap fr...

Re: Has the time come??

Jez, Riding the way I do these days and using the roads I prefer to ride I didn't notice any real difference in power between the 2 bikes, Xr 900 has more than enough get up and go for me and I certainly dont need or want the 165 bhp Xr 1000. Pete, thanks. I was planning to take a test ride on the ...

Re: Has the time come??

That sounds like a bargain for someone, it looked like a nice bike when I met you on it the other week.

Aside from the very different riding position how did you find the power difference on the XR to the 1200S. And how much did the dealer offer trade in?!

Re: A Wee Grampian Adventure Fri 17th July - Sun 19th July 2020

Good to meet you guys and thanks for a great ride yesterday. Set off in damp conditions from Broxburn in the morning and despite the glorious conditions to the North arrived back to damp and grey conditions (at least the days' flies were easier to remove from my visor). Not many opportunities for ph...
