Same as Lloyd, I suspended ballast from front sub frame (made up a bracket from bottom of subframe) and relocated horn. Also did same re leads, I've got a set of clever punches from way back. Punched hole in rubber cover to take gromit already on new light fitting.

Rear brake caliper-advice wanted

Can anyone confirm which way the rear caliper pad backing spring plate(whatever it is called) fits? [2003, ABS] There is an arrow embossed on it, does it go to to the front or rear of the bike when fitted. It fell out when I was cleaning up the brakes :oops: .

My '53 heated grip S is hard wired. I too would like the option of switching them off. The accountants love it when they can save money in the name of 'safety'
