Re: HP2 Sport

I’d be interested to know more about these must have improvements too. If it was the motorsport model I’d have been making arrangements to empty my piggy bank but I think it’s the bike that’s advertised on eBay?

Rear wheel bearing/paralever

I sold my R1200S earlier in the year and been kicking myself a bit ever since. There’s an R1100S up for sale near me with 24k miles on the clock and the last MOT (July 2018 :? ) had an advisory stating ‘Rear wheel bearing has slight play. Paralever/crown wheel bearings’. Should I be worried? ...

Re: Ohlins spring

Yes I had a feeling it might be too specific a question as there are many variables when it comes to spring rates etc. My bike has the standard shocks and before I commit to purchasing used Ohlins I wanted to check if the numbers on the spring seemed correct and not just a non specific yellow spring...

Ohlins spring

Hello
Looking for a bit of assistance.

Could someone who has a R1200S with Ohlins suspension see what the reference number printed on the rear shock spring is please?

Many thanks

Monday is fine. The bike spends most of its time indoors anyway waiting for summer to arrive

Re: Wanted: R12S rear seat cover/cowl

Good luck :!: I ended up getting one from someone in Germany.

Just a thought. Mine wasn’t the right colour either but instead of having it painted I got it vinyl wrapped so I can always undo it in the future easily if I want to. Not a perfect match but I’m happy with it.

Re: R12S parts wanted

Aren't mirrors common to a few models ? K1200 IIRC ? Turns out they’re not as I’ve found to my cost. They look identical and I bought a mirror from a K1200 via eBay this week but the part that attaches to the fairing i.e. the section where the screws go is ever so slightly a different shape to the ...

Re: R12S parts availability

Sorted now :thumbleft: A mixture of a German Facebook group member coming up with a black seat cowl and using the knowledge above that a K1300S mirror is the same fitment ended up netting an eBay purchase. I’ll get the cowl wrapped I think rather than painted. Makes reverting back to its original bl...

I did not know that. In that case it’s the shiny ‘Colgate’ one I’m after.

R12S parts wanted

Hi folks, Just recently picked up a R1200S and there’s a couple of parts I need/want. Firstly a RHS mirror unit. Doesn’t matter if it’s missing the glass and indicator. My stem had a chunk missing out of the end above the bit that attaches to the fairing :? Also I’d like (but don’t need :D ) a rear ...

Re: R12S parts availability

Ok so I found the diagrams and looks like I’ll need a full mirror unit. I don’t need the glass or indicator so I’ll stick up a ‘wanted’ advert. You never know :?
