My first service.

I've been in the position to have BMW service my r1100s, now I'm not. I'm pretty much cool with everything and even though it's a 36k service all the major work was carried out at 30k. One question I can't find an answer to is can we flush these engines pre new oil? If so, can we use regular engine ...

Ha, well noted. I'm actually from Scotland and use the bike for work and occasionally exploring when I get the chance. Although I'm usually hauling up and down motorways I do enjoy the occasional A road. I'm only working in Liverpool for a few weeks so what better chance to see Wales than on a day o...

Speedo failure. 2003 r1100s

A rather soggy run saw my Speedo gradually fail, bounce limply a couple of time and then stop altogether. While I don't suspect the weather got into the sender I'm wondering if the can be cleaned up? I've had a wee search on here and as I'm away from home and the bike's currently locked up I thought...

Totally forgot about guys thread. Nice pics. I'll have add some with the silver bits of mine painted black. I guess it's a Givi thing with the consistency regarding adjustments etc.

Good job!

Right, taking a chance and gong straight for the stick coils. After much trawling this sounds like the most likely. I'm away from home and am pretty m check limited to the tools in the bike. Is there anything (tools or otherwise) I need to look out the for whilst changing the coils? Input gratefully...
