The area I got caught is a single carriageway, and I do not know exactly where I was alleged to commit the offence, I do remember being overtaken by a Audi TT, and I just dropped a gear and shot past the Audi... that must have been where I was clocked. I do not know the speed as I was watching the r...

101mph

Well, it has happened... caught doing 101mph on the A165 Reighton By Pass.
Stupid? Yes! but it went to that speed so quick!
So I may have to sell the Boxer to pay the fine... not forgetting to pay for bus fares too. Bugger!

It's probably the throttle bodies need balancing, if it hasn't been serviced recently , check the valve clearances first , change the spark plugs , check the air filter and check the condition of the throttle body vacuum blanking plugs when you remove them to hook up the carbtune or whatever balanc...

Boxer farting and cutting out!

Another problem with the 1100... bike starts easily, tick over ok, start to ride and the engine misses occasionally, farts and and has sometimes cut out.
Once the engine is hot, bike runs ok... is this my valve clearances? :)

After a couple of weekends stripping the fairing off and changing the indicator relay, checking and re-soldering any loose connections I suspected, I still have fast indicators!
So bloody annoying! :(

Dodgy connection fooling system into thinking there's a bulb out? Appologies if this has been suggested Well... I am flumaxed, you may be right Dave, because, I have spent £39 changing the relay, changed my rear bulbs to 21W items, checked the cabling for anything connected inline, and still my ind...

Maybe you still have the inline resistors fitted that the led blinkers required? Trace the wiring back and check that there is nothing fitted that was not original. Steve Now theres an idea.... if I have the resistors fitted but 12v 21W lamps in... would it flash fast? I may have read this all wron...

Dave Like you I remember the brakes being fierce at first and they only get more so if you replace the standard rubber brake lines with Goodridge ones. I have now got used to one or two finger braking as you can keep more finesse over the throttle whilst braking. So it seems this is normal...thats ...

Fast flashing rear indicators

Since acquiring the 1100S, the rear LED indicators fitted flashed fast, so, I purchased and fitted normal bulb type indicator units, but these came with 12v 10W bulbs. I removed the 12v 21W indicator bulbs from my Suzuki Bandit and tried them in the new indicator units and the indicators flashed nor...

Lethal brakes

Well, I have had the Cup for almost 3 weeks and can say I find the brakes on the 1100S lethal! I am confident that if I want to stop either the front or back wheel from turning, I just need to dab on the brakes.... wow! not used to locking up the rear, but strangely it seems to stay upright and has ...
