Re: Stage 9 Johns Chip for R1100S

@ a tenner its a bargain; i don't think it matters if single or twin does it?

Re: Wanted R1100S bar risers

This doesn’t sound right to me, vibration on the r1100s has never been that bad for me. Has bike had it’s throttles balanced? The best thing I have done re smoothing out the bike is putting one of John Gemi’s chips in it but it was never about vibrations for me. Brad

R1100S reborn via solid motors

At first i didn't think it was that good (white on a bike is hard to get right), on second look i like: https://goo.gl/EEDA3Y There are a lot of nice make-overs here, and while i typically find the R1100R a bit fugly, this makes me want to transform one: https://goo.gl/bjRYgs Brad

Re MCN Test Of R11S Bolt On's Confirm Their Over Rating

Does anyone have this original MCN article... see http://forums.pelicanparts.com/bmw-r1100s-r1200s-tech-forum/163638-mcn-test-r11s-bolt-ons-confirm-their-over-rating.html for more info.

Warning, this forum posts includes a lot of opinions so intrigued to read original article.

Re: Exchange 10mm offset Telelever.

Genuine query, has anyone of us on this forum tried this & can anyone provide feedback. . .

I have GS paralever, but mulling over this option as well. . . is this overkill?

Re: Whassat?

Spot the difference between the schematic (mistake) & the picture; hint: o-ring. AND don't do what i did to correct it, lets just say it doesn't flex back to size so i discovered on weekend after accessing under tank (ecu) a 3rd time in as many months.

Re: John Gemi Tuning Chip - my experience

@Al - oh how I wish that was the case ( I will pull seat off but I am sure I recall it being stuff in amongst the joys of inlet etc so not quite that accessible). Isn't the booster plug just under the front of the seat? seem to recall mine was. I only used the booster plug on mine during the summer ...

Re: John Gemi Tuning Chip - my experience

@Boxered - that could very well be the problem, makes logical sense. Joy, get to practice accessing under the fuel tank again!

John Gemi Tuning Chip - my experience

Trixters... Thought i would share my experience of my upgrading from my standard chip to the 'John Gemi' tuning chip for the R1100S. Re: Safety tip for bmw system cases

Timely topic, i noticed last week my panniers can be readily 'pulled' off without too much effort to the point its made me somewhat nervous how good the system is. I haven't noticed this before & i'm pretty sure i've played with these in the past & they have never come off as easily as they ...
