I was interested in the throttle assembly and was swapping messages with the seller but havent heard anything for a few weeks.
Anybody else have contact with the seller or is it all over?

Re: Its Back
10,000miles, I would be needing to get mine serviced every 100 (working) days!
But I still have the originals on my 11S......
one day....
although I have had it 4 years, have pretty much only ridden it the last 6 months. Before that it was under wraps and the previous owner didnt ride it much either

Re: DIY gear indicator
This looks GREAT!
I shall do some more reading but it looks like it will fill a gap on my project
(1100GS and I dont think to use the normal RID as I am re-wiring the whole thing)
Thanks!

Re: 1100S bits for sale.
The domino throttle assembly I would be liking that please.
Understand that it requires other mods due to switch gear etc, not a problem for me.
Please can you PM me.
Thanks
(Yes, I am in Aus, postage and payment, not a problem)

ALTERNATE THROTTLE TWSIT GRIP ASSEMBLY
Morning All Has any body changed out the normal twist grip throttle assmbly for another brand e.g. Domino? I am doing a little project on an 1100GS (the switch gear / throttle assy is the same as an 1100S), the bars are getting replaced, the switch gear replaced (with Bike Sport Development switches...

Re: Oil light and Speedometer problems.
If its like the GS (probably) then the wires in the loom are often done up really tight by zip ties at the frame near the head stock. They can get tight and wear, and get a short. general word is to cut the zip ties and replace with others not done up so tight. I do have an 1100S but the looms in th...

Re: SYNCING THROTTLEBODYS
you need to adjust the BBS on each side to set the idle balance. If you have done the TB Balance at 3000rpm for example, and then you adjust the BBS, your 3000rpm balance will be fine but your idle balance will be way off https://advrider.com/f/resources/ follow that link, scroll down a bit and clic...

Re: Final drive rusted onto driveshaft.
mmmmm tricky
You may also get some advice from UKGSer and ADV
whilst yours isnt a GS, the basic construction assembly is the same.

Re: Irregular tickover
erratic idling will be more obvious at idle - obviously! but as the buterflys open up inside the throttle bodies the percentage of availble airflow is greater, and so erratic flow is greatly masked. Another problem could be the that there is wear on the TPS, the tracks inside may be worn and / or di...

Re: BCR rebuild/recommission
I put Lennies sprokets in my 1150GS, made a big difference, I dont need them in my 11S! take your time installing them, not hard, but be careful. DONT let the cam chain drop down in to the engine! Lennie was superhelp when I was installing mine, I had a query and he replied within an hour or so (but...
