Hello Boxerscott, I hear you, nothing wrong at all with the look of the bike and the OEM exhaust. It's just its a bit...pop pop pop splutter pop pop pop! She isn't the smoothest at low speed which I think is in part due to the way she's tuned and the "throttled" OEM exhaust. I've only fitt...

Thanks Blackal, Already have Powercommander and K&N, I would say the PC provided a considerable improvement in smoothness, particularly at the low end where I think the HP2 stutters. I just think the OEM exhaust is so muted it must be artificially constraining the bike. Assume that's why theres ...

Wotmewoory, you replaced the Headers only, what was the effect on noise and performance? I really want a better sound (and smother running), I just don't imagine that you'll get a deeper and throatier tone from Header replacement only? I used to have a Buell XB12 with aftermarket underslung exhaust ...

Have Seen a S/H Akrapovic for sale and offered the asking price, but the guy is pretty inflexible on payment method and uncommunicative. I'm not...

ABS Ring

Ian, I wonder if it might not be worth visiting a local metal workers. They might have some aluminium plate the right thickness, or better still aluminium bar/tube. You might even be able to get one of them to cut out some round spacers for you cash in hand  If not, what about stainless steel...

Nick, It was great to see you and the other chaps the Saturday; we all enjoyed our day out "lost" in the French countryside :D . On the Sunday we rode down to Mont St Michel, very fast, and looped back through the peninsular to Carentan and Utah Beach and then back to Port en Besin. I trust you had ...

Which pipe

I got a Laser pipe and cans. I got the impression that they are the BMW recommended after market system, they're fitted to the BC Rep 2004 after all. They certainly look the business as does the Remus system, but as to which is best, I have no idea, I don't think you can go wrong with either. Regard...

I was missing the wheel spanner and extension from my tool (aparently not supplied as standard anyway (not much use anyway without a centre stand  )

Got replacments from Motorworks, they can probably supply a completet S/H kit from stock!

Andrew :)
