Re: Welsh Weekend 2018

They have several meeting rooms, so if somebody want to do a presentation it's ideal for this sort of thing. I would certa...

If she does turn she doesn't spin very fast, but turns engine over. Will come off tomorrow again and having a look. :( :x...

Re: non-starter R1100S all of a sudden! - won't turn over as if battery is flat, but its not.

Yes, finally yesterday I've stripped the starter and found the retention plate touching armature winding and shorting out (burning small holes into plate). Damage wasn't bad on winding and retention blade ( after 4-5 failure symthons on start up ). I've managed to put retention plate back in the hou...

Well, I've followed this thread and guess what happened today? Same thing, would turn over and all cockpit lights are flickering indicating flat battery. Tried a couple more times and she started without hesitation. Thanks for the good advise in above communications. Will take mine off and investiga...

Re: 03' R1100S green fuel light permanently on !

Well,
I've had 161 miles when I run out of fuel.
Will check the connections on the sender unit first before I strip everything down.
How easy is it to replace the sender unit ?

Re: R1100S rev counter working intermittantly

Hi, unfortunately this weekend I was bad and couldn't do a lot. Investigated further around wiring loom and found some repaired sections in areas near the sub frame. So, there must have been a problem before. I've looked closer into the blue multi pin plug and found another 2 pins corroded and short...

Re: R1100S rev counter working intermittantly

Hi, yes, I've found the connector pins corroded and one - top left - missing ! It's on the big blue connection in the relay box. It's the red/white wire. I will bypass the one and see what happens. I think the other two next to the broken one are corroded badly and I cannot clean them. Will bypass w...
