Re: Fuel Grade

That’s a very nice example of a distinctive colour scheme...........

All you need to do now - is get those BT21s worn down quickly and get some more modern rubber on.

(At least - I think they are BT21 :| )

Re: Today I.....

Thank God Scotland isn’t reliant on international football for pride............. The team at Twickenham - did us proud, though. :D This will be the first year for a while - where I can’t make it down to the south of France when International footie is on. Nothing better than sitting in an outside b...

Re: New Job, New City, New Life

Lots of good roads to the south, and south-west, as soon as you are clear of Edinburgh, and the same North and North-west once you get on the other side of the Forth.

Watch out for increased polis presence around the Borders - they must be taking measures after last year’s fatalities.

Re: Heading for trouble?

Penetrating oil, and then use a socket on the end of a variable force hammer action battery drill.

Use low-torque to begin with and build up. The rotary vibration is the best - for freeing seized nuts

Re: New Job, New City, New Life

Not a bad departure gift, at all :)

I think you may have made the right decision - most who start instructing, cease to enjoy recreational biking.

Good luck with the new venture - whereabouts in Auld Reekie are you moving to?

Re: diagnostic tool gs-911

I think there are certain functions which don’t require VIN registration on the unit, and in any case - the notion that “I need to have 9 or 10 slots available” is unrealistic.

I reckon if you get one with 4 or 5 - you will still have a sellable asset by the time you are wanting rid of it.

Re: Steve Parry

Update - I took Steve out for lunch today and we had a nice little tour of all the closed pubs in a 30 mile radius of his house. The hospitality industry in Wales was closed. So we ended up at the Pondy cafe for steak pie and chips. He looks well enough, but still has a long way to go to shake of t...
