Unless I am very much mistaken - this is our own Ian and Sue...... heading off to Santander for their holibags..........

Spotted in a photo on another forum - Think Sue has had enough waiting for the lazy car-driver who turned up on the car-deck 45mins late.

Re: Definitive list of R12S worthwhile mods

Performance-wise...….…………….. [a) Carbon Fibre wheels[/b] (with the caveat that new - they might be seen as a bit of an indulgence) New shocks (or at least - rear). There is an exhaustive thread (sticky?) listing all shock options. Nitron appear to offer good value. Check also price of Maxton, who s...

Re: noisy exhaust?

I posted again on this last night, then deleted it when i woke up . In a moment of lucidity i saw where this post was going then after my corn flakes it felt off topic. loud exhausts suck. Only a Bellend thinks they are cool or for some unimaginable reason one thinks it makes them safe and therefor...

And yet - you already identified that it could be construed to be insulting........

Hey - up to you, but I think you’ve identified yourself as a low-baller.

That might work out for you or it might not...........

Re: Garmin Basecamp

I must admit, that it is around 12months between route creations - for me,

But - You can still do that “stretchy-elastic thing” to modify the route (just like you could do with the old Mapsource).

Can’t remember how exactly right now - but there are a heap of Youtubers who cover it.

Re: WANTED: R1100s rear shock.

If you come up blank on here - there is always Motorworks (which at least should have some guarantee)

Or EBay (But you could just be inheriting someone else’s problem)

Good luck.

(The ‘guarantee’ - is in comparison to EBay, not with a member on here)

Re: Wish they'd make this ....

Jeezo!

I question whether the K1300 naked is really relevant .........

Litre nakeds appear to deliver as much “hang on tight” power and torque as the human body can handle.

I’d fall off!
