Thanks for all the replies guys, I noticed you mention getting the quick shifter - does it really make a difference if you are not doing track days?
Anything else you guys recommend - ie cylinder head covers etc? Hugger etc
Oh and is the BMW Nav system any good? with GPS etc?

Honda XT to R1200RS
Hi all, I have been looking to move across to the R1200RS away from my Crosstourer - after riding the R1200RS(2017) I am very impressed - I think its my next bike. Very easy to ride and very relaxed.Also I found the screen causing buffeting after 80 MPH but I am sure there are plenty of aftermarket ...

I went to the BMW day at Bury Hill last weekend and rode the R1200RS(2017) very nice, impressed with the engine/fueling and lack of snatch in the drive train unlike the Honda. A very smooth relaxed ride with oooomph if you needed it - could be next on my shopping list

currently a Honda VFR1200X owner - looking to swap over to the R1200S. So thought a look at the forums might prove beneficial before parting with any money. It might give me insight into any problems/faults etc
