Re: R1200S FOR SALE ON EBAY WITH BIG BORE EXHAUST ?

That's an HPE full system, I have the same on my bike. The tail pipe is the 'slim line' version, which I think was developed when a forklift ran over some stainless pipe in the yard - no room for the baffles now so we charge more. Got mine form Sandbar, second hand headers and new tail pipe or the o...

Re: ECU

Quick update, bike is back up and running. The chap from the link that Humbug posted got hold of another ECU and cloned mine to it. Power commander is now removed and I've still to re fit the Lambda probes, which I'll do when stops raining! It seemed to run a bit rough so hoping the the probes will ...

Re: ECU

Thanks for the link Humbug, just spoke to the chap and he's asked Graham from the bike shop to call him. Graham has another ECU that needs a repair.

I'll let you know what happens

ECU

Hello all,

It appears that the ECU on my R1200S has blown, think it was the power commander. Bike is in my local dealer in Taunton but they can't find a replacement one, tried Motorworks.

Does anyone know somewhere that can re write them or any other sources for a replacement one?

Cheers

I have similar memories but the other way round with Karen charging passed me

And great, she's now got a faster bike

Check out Mitch1100's last post in Boxerspex, looks like he has one, maybe worth asking him.

Re: R1200S phone mount?

You can use a simple 'U' clamp and fix to the top yoke as below. You have to sacrifice the black plastic infill piece but that's it and it get's the sat nav / phone in the middle of the bars. It was a quick fix that I never got round to changing.

Re: Anyone buying a new bike?

Hi Chris,

280cc, can tow 225kg in a trailer, no dog, just cats and it's for jobs around the farm / small holding plus some off road fun.
