Do you have to wear a mask going into Specsavers? I take that's where Chris is going to get his hearing checked out

Re: Front Wheel Spindle

Have you pulled the old one apart to see if there appears to have been a problem with it? Would be interesting to know

Not sure how to tell the difference between a Randy replica replica but sure there'll be plenty here that can advise you. Think the RWB Boxercup is easier to spot

Re: Front Wheel Spindle

The only other thing I can think of, other than everything discussed so far, is that there could be an internal deterioration in the hydraulic lines from master cylinder to the callipers (and ABS unit). I had it on a car once and the inside of the flexible pipe bore had deteriorated and a flap of h...

Re: Front Wheel Spindle

Spoke to amate about Gs911 and it’s to cycle the abs pump so bleeding with ignition off would mean abs valves are closed so should be ok. He also had a similar problem albeit with a different BMW and after refurbishing the master cylinder it was OK. Fingers crossed

Re: Front Wheel Spindle

you can use brake fluid or red grease - it doesn't take much. If you need some let me know. Got a big tub of the stuff. It is starting to point to somewhere further up the system though. Mine hasn't got ABS so I can rule that output do you not need a GS911 forABS bikes?

Re: Front Wheel Spindle

Just a thought but you say you replaced callipers. I was looking for a set to get refurbished for when I get a paint job on my 12s and thought I’d found a pair - looked identical to mine but were for an RT. Could there be the slightest chance you have the wrong callipers?

Re: Front Wheel Spindle

Just reminded me that I had a similar problem with my mountain bike (avid brakes - usually cause some problems if not bled right). Solution was to crack a bleed valve open and push the pads all the way back then nip the valve up and that was it. But I suppose this really just points to too much flui...

Re: Front Wheel Spindle

I suppose that would cause the problem. It doesn't appear that a rebuild kit is available for the master cylinder. Are the discs hot to touch after a ride? or maybe brake hard and ride for a short while and see if they're still hot?

Re: Another prang....

As above - the bike can be repaired/replaced. As long as you're OK. I'm with Ian on the LC. I think I met a solicitor who either knows you or knows of you - ex traffic cop now solicitor - ring any bells?

Is the movement definitely from the bottom? Steering head bearings? Bearings on the wishbone? Then as you have stated ball joints
