Well, update on poor running - hopefully getting somewhere at last - don't want to post too much as I don't want to tempt fate!!!!! but, there are internal problems = mucho greenbacks to hand over (well plastic really). Once it's properly sorted I'll give the results

Is it the Ilmberger carbon head covers you're after? You just missed a set on here but they're not cheap. Try German Ebay. There's generally a few new sets for sale but they're upwards of £350. Not sure of other peoples experiences but mine weren't the best fit

Got a friend who lives on Islay. She got me a bottle of Bruichladdich Octomore for my sisters 50th that was 2 years ago and she still hasn't opened so I've never tried it yet!!

John, mate of mine has an 800s - he replaced the rear shock (his was worn out) and he reckons the bike rides as good as new (he'd test rode a new 800 before changing the shock) I can get details if you want. The only thing I do know was he had a remote pre load fitted as it would have been virtually...
