Free(ish) tyre

I've got a Pilot Road 4 Trail which I'd done about 170 miles on and got a puncture. It's been repaired but was never put back on the bike as I was about to start a 3000 mile tour. Yours for the price of the postage and a small contribution to Paul (or your favourite charity)for the upkeep of this si...

Re: Crass Stupidity!

The lockdown needs tightening so the idiotic minority don't affect the sensible majority. As I commented earlier I'm one of the fortunate ones who is still working and I will be using the bike to commute although I'm very aware of the consequences of an off so I'll be being careful (as I usually am)

Re: My R1200s

If the night time temperature goes up a bit I'll be using the GS for work so although not the most exciting roads, at least I'll get some biking fix but suspect this year is not really going to happen If you are a little imaginative with your route Dave can’t you take in a decent road One route is ...

Re: Offer of Help

John, you are a top guy and just the kind of bloke i am looking for to expand my new male escort agency business. The old dears are invaluable but could you put your cards in the Morningside area? I`ve recruited Dave the German cos he is minted with all the tissue currency he delivers and Black Al ...

Re: WTB: R1100S Wider wheel (5.5")

Look up Merlin Coach Works in Durham - they made a BCR side car and I think they may still have a back wheel - worth a call (if they're not self isolating)

As Chris says, keep on keeping on - I do feel for the unfortunate people that are going to feel the financial effects of this horrid bloody thing - as much as I would like to leave the transport industry, at least for the moment I'm an essential worker but lets see what the GP thinks about my diabet...

Re: Final drive change

The genuine Akro de cat pipe is rarer than rocking horse poo. Re sealing the front cover can be a pain unless it’s done correctly and with the core sealant. I’ve been reliably informed that you put the sealant on the cover and finger tighten the bolts and leave for an hour or so before the final tig...

Re: USA`s loss is Scotlands gain

Sounds as luxurious as a new car. Although I could see how it would be a challenge to stay awake whilst driving it, with nothing much to do. John M I also think it's the cause of my back pain. sitting without any lower body movement - unless you stop frequently which isn't often possible, plus find...

How old's your truck Dave - my Gulfstream Ultra is 28 years old and an old tech, normally aspirated diesel non turbocharged. John M Coming up to 2 years old with close to 660,000 Kms John. I think it has all the hardware fitted ready for driverless, calculates everything by GPS, knows where hills a...
