Re: THE CLASSIC ROCK SHOW - 2019 DATES

Dave, if you are a skynyrd fan you might like skinny molly, fronted by Mike Estes, ex skynyrd in the '90's, seem to play quite a bit oop northern parts.

John, I'm with you, the front of most bikes these days look like they have melted in the sun.

Re: Is this the TE Model?? Good price??

Luke, can I suggest you join ukgser, £12 subs a year and there are thre te bikes for sale at the moment, a bit more than you want to pay maybe for 2 of them but probably better spec bikes.

Re: John Gemi R1200GS chips?

As Chris said, Lots of info on UKGSER, the GS has a flat spot that can be a bit annoying, people use a company called Hilltop to modify the ECU or you can fit AXfied units to the hexhead bikes, not sure about the LC.

Re: R12S THROTTLE ECCENTRIC REMOVAL

Is this specific to the s, if so why different from R or GS? Good old BMW!! Swapping from 1100s to the GS I thought the throttle movement was more than the 1100 but got used to it.

Re: WTB: Hugger. WTS: Hugger

The rear tyre on an pre LC GS is a 150, i think on the LC's it is 170. I have a hugger on my '06 bike similar to the ones in the links and there is no way they would clear a 190 tyre.

Been following your trip on UKGSER for the last few days Josef, enjoyed the write up, if it is your last trip for a while at least you made it memorable.
