Re: Strange handling

hi Gerry I think i have same problem. I have the classic symptom of a failed rear wheel bearing and get the general vibration plus play in the z axis ie I can rock the wheel slightly- what is the fix for this ?

Re: Thinking again of moving to the dark side

i know some people keep them in dehumidifiers within their garage. Given the cost of a HD this does seem a bit ridiculous

Re: Thinking again of moving to the dark side

so what was wrong with the Jap cruiser Chris/ I have been thinking about buying a Harley but everyone tells me they are prone to rust even in a dry garage, I am also looking at the Triumph America as an alternative

Re: BMW R1100S Luggage options

maybe a tail pack would be a solution; I have one on mine which zips on and carries a surprising amount of stuff.

Fuel warning light

Mine only seems visible if I lean over & up to my right so its easy to miss. Anyone have a simple solution?

Re: clay bar

I use clay bar every year before polishing. It is a slightly tedious process but does pick up contaminants and gets easier every time you do it

Greetings from Bristol

I recently bought an R11 via this forum and I am very pleased with it; already done 800 miles in 6 weeks. If there are other owners in Bristol feel free to get in touch

Re: Optimistic R1200s price ?

Price is very high in my view having checked these out for a year or so. Not keen on imports as I don’t know how you can check the mileage but then I am a cautious person
