All change part two.

I have met a few of you in person at the Scottish weekend in 2021. The rest of you, I have enjoyed reading your various thoughts, comments and general snippets of mainly useful advice about the 12S. I am moving to Portugal to retire in a few weeks time. There are a lot of positives to this decision ...

FREE R1200 S standard can

Gents I have a standard end can for sale. It is in good condition and I need to move it on.

I'm not looking to sell it just send it somewhere where it may be of use. I can post it at your expense or you can collect near Preston.

Urgent information request

Gents I'm currently sitting in the bar of a hotel in the Czech Republic with a very cold pilsner beer, after a decent days riding. However when I went to move my 12s to the garage there was a loud click and then nothing no dashboard no warning lights. Switched it on and off nothing, left it alone fo...

Re: ECU

If that doesn't work out for you. Call Andy at J33 Developments. Its just off the M6 at, you've guessed it, J33. His contact number is 07742 491202. He has a 1200 S and has made a custom map for the ECU in his own bike. Very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with.

Re: Immobiliser battery

My mistake should have mentioned that it is just the BMW factory immobiliser. This is the battery I want to either change or buy a spare for.
Where is it located please.

Immobiliser battery

I've been in Portugal for a few months now trying to convince my ageing brain to learn Portuguese. The roads are stupendous but up until now I've not had my bike with me. This will change as I'm returning to the UK to collect it in mid January. To avoid any complications en route I would like to kno...

Re: Shxte Fuel

I took this link from the Ducati Scotland website. The writer has analysed all the commonly available fuels for their ethanol content. The list in the link shows the differing percentages from what is claimed to the results found during the test. Make of it what you will. https://www.facebook.com/gr...

Front wheel bearing seals

Hi all time to change the front wheel bearing It is as you can see past it's best. The bearings are easy to find however the fiche states that the seals are 30x 47x 7 yet what came out of the wheel were shown as a BMW part 32x 47 x7.

Any offers on what is correct?

Thanks

Mick
