Actually it now gives me a problem, because I like riding it more than my R11S now that I have fitted higher bars. Mainly a weight thing though - as I advance into the fringes of old age. Indeed, my thoughts exactly. I loved my R1100s but they are a big lump and now I'm a rather feeble 60 odd year ...

Thanks Mitch, fair point. Still not decided about the bike :( Might be worth the wait to see what the winter clear-out brings to the market.

Many thanks, for your input, you are both 100% right of course maybe I'm just panicking a bit at the thought of a new clutch. Must say I am very impressed with 120k on the original clutch, a credit to your riding.
