Re: Back End Buchhie (Moffat) 16th/17th October. Update!

Sorry I missed you in the marquee as I got a special order from Claudios https://flic.kr/p/2jWtAYp an offer I couldn’t refuse. https://flic.kr/p/2jWtAYp I saw the big GS Parked outside and figured you’d be having a super time. Turned out there are some other Porsche drivers on a mission so Sunday wa...

Re: Back End Buchhie (Moffat) 16th/17th October. Update!

Great run up the dales and Cumbrian routes yesterday to Moffat. Loved the big GS parked outside the Buckie!

Later Saw the Mx5s Parked in a quarum in the town centre while I went to pick up my takeaway special from claudios!!

Re: Back End Buchhie (Moffat) 16th/17th October. Update!

Well this is a funny old carry on we’re living through... I read earlier that someone was coming in an MX5 and as my Boxster needs a leg stretch and I can only get away for the one night I’m going to bring that. So if mr MX5 owner wants a fun run on Saturday I’ll be at Penrith in the afternoon findi...

Re: Back End Buchhie (Moffat) 16th/17th October. Update!

Tim, forgiven. Claudios were taking bookings last week, they seem to have things in order. Reduced capacity however. Peter, nothing has changed, its on till its off. T and c`s apply. We are not outlaws and will be most welcome in Moffat and where else we visit. Andy.. till next year.. stay fit. It`...

Re: Back End Buchhie (Moffat) 16th/17th October. Update!

Dang! Glad I thought to check in. I’m uncertain as to the rules and how they’d Impact. I’m really keen to be out and about having only clocked 8000 fun mikes in the three months I’ve had the old boiler. Did I see there’s a car contingent to this trip too. If the weather is shocking, would I be forgi...

Re: Baskerville Hall 28-30th August

Ok Chaps,

I’ve no ambitions to disrupt your nuptials over the B/H weekend.

I shall instead look forward to an October Moffat fest

Baskerville Hall 28-30th August

Greetings friends of the church of the horizontally opposed! Having enjoyed a BOXSTER trip in and around This region of Wales with John a couple of years back, I’m proposing to return on two wheels for two nights and two days of riding around and having fun on bikes. Having met some of you on the Gr...

Re: Loz of the Church of the Horizontally Opposed

Yep. Welcome in Loz. You`ve acquired one of the better model gs`s imo . Wise purchase , depreciation completely mashed out of it , no need to get to precious with it. Oh, by the way, well piloted to! (for a prop forward  ) Chris. Thanks Chris! I do love a bold that has proved its worth and th...

Re: Back End Buchhie (Moffat)Confirmed, Book now!

I have a room and am praying for good weather or a fine choice of outwear!
Is there any version of this where we eat at Claudios?

Re: A Wee Grampian Adventure Fri 17th July - Sun 19th July 2020

I can’t start this with anything other than a massive thank you to john for dragging m me back onto motorcycles and then introducing me to just the right kind of maniacs that make me enjoy them to the absolute max. It’s been a wonderful weekend I’m almost home I thought I could make it on two tanks,...

However I could have sworn that Rob from Moffat was on a GS?

Keep up Archie! Never confuse the Truth with a good yarn from our esteemed leader. I’ve heard he funded those new boots selling London Bridge to some yanks who wanted a matching pair

So it begins!
The first leg 142miles to scotch corner. Feet never touched the ground. Next Penrith for a bottle of water. Next stop Moffat. About to dine with Rob and Karen. A steak night!
