Selling Your Used Motorcycle

Chums - I'm little out of touch with all things motorcycle and wonder what the collective wisdom is as to the best channels for selling your bike? Once the choice was between MCN, Autotrader and Exchange & Mart, but things have moved on somewhat and there are a thousand ways out there to 'reach ...

Re: R1100S 99(T) Black

That's one heck of a tidy bike. If you're not in a rush, I personally think you could get more. It's a bit of a bargain at the moment. Thanks for the feedback sj. I have priced it aggressively as I need to make space in the garage for an incoming machine, so first dibs for forum members. I will be ...

I have a mate, an old work colleague, who is 73. He rides his bicycle every day and also has a stable of four motorbikes. For years these invariably consisted of various BSAs, as he professed to only like old British bikes. However recently I visited him to find that two of the beezers had gone and ...

Is it that onerous to check your bike/bicycle tyre pressures now and then? Another gadget to free up 5 minutes extra a week to do what? Sit on one's arse no doubt :)

Do you mind, we in Staines (upon Thames) are trying to shake off the Ali G association.

And Now For Something Completely Different ...............

After 22 odd years of BMW ownership, I fancied something different and it certainly is:

I got pissed off with haemorrhaging cash on flash cars that spent most of their time sitting on the driveway. Well I'm definitely slower than I was when I was in my 20's, but I'm a much safer rider now, I'm not fast nor slow and I'm quite happy with that. Having said that, I'm still acutely aware that I have room to improve, and I'm not talking about racetrack speed. Steve +1 on this. Maturity tells me to ...

My ideal is 3 - 4 riders of a similar level / experience who know each others riding style. Big groups are okay if everyone is more or less at the same ability and is prepared to show maturity and self discipline. Unfortunately this rarely the case, often the ride gradually speeds up over the course...

Didn't BMW do a retro version of the R1100R towards the end of that model's run? Available in black or cream with lining around the tank if I remember correctly.
