Re: Ilmberger hugger flew off :(

Nope, my original plan was to repair it and left it in the garage. Decided not to put it back or repair / replace it. That reminds me I need to get some original caliper bolts and replace the Pyramid bolts, oh and take the hugger to the tip! loose fixings caused the fail? My cf Pyramid bcr hugger f...

Re: Ilmberger hugger flew off :(

My Pyramid hugger failed spectacularly on my 1100S and jammed itself in the back wheel. Luckily at low speed, so the ensuing locked rear wheel was dealt with without issue. It hangs in my garage and I wouldn't ever think of replacing it. Bloody dangerous. Obviously of sentimental value to you then....

Re: Reivers Ride 2018 # Route added#

My and Sue's thanks also to Chris and Amanda for a great weekend. Excellent route, great roads. It was good to catch up with Trixsters old and new, and the Capon Tree restaurant was a real find. Best wishes to Ian for speedy recovery. Would have posted earlier but just back from West Coast tour wit...

Re: Rough running R12S

Update, all is not 100% well just yet. So, the problem originally started with the idling not feeling 100% correct, a bit lumpy, after which it started stalling while hot in traffic. Changing the lower left coil seemed to resolve the problem but after a week it started to behaving odd again, someti...

Re: Ilmberger hugger flew off :(

Has it ever happened to anyone else, I'm sure it did it unaided by any foreign object on the road because I didn't see anything in front of me and couldn't find anything afterwards either, just metal fatigue I reckon ? I must have had mine on the bike for 14 odd years now and 100k miles, admittedly...

Re: Ilmberger hugger flew off :(

At the end of the day it is only a crud catcher. GRP any day for me. Cost effective. The weight saving element of cf is totally irrelevant on a boxer tractor. if you can afford CF mudguards you are earning/making your money too easily, if you are prepared to buy another .... :?

Re: Hello

Hi, Remember me? Just checking in. Sold my 1200s last year and bought a KTM which was a pile of crap. Sold it last night, now in the market for a speed triple. I like to drop in here now and again, as this is still my favourite forum. Hope everyone is ok! Jim. I`m fine thanks Jim. I was amused at y...

Re: Reivers Ride 2018 # Route added#

Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend on the bike and off it, firstly an own fault incident which happened to my good friend Ian, (which saddens me immensely) I can let you all know that he is coming home today with a mashed rib cage and his pride severely dented. He asks me to pass on heartfelt tha...

Re: MotoGP

There`s only one GOAT title of all categories of sport you wish to mention. I do not even have to name him cos everyone on the planet knows who that was. BTW most of vr46`s records are been surpassed rapidly as you have already noticed, in a much more competitive arena. Leave the Goat bit out that i...
