BMW heated grips

How much are OEM replacement Heated grips generally (each). The reason I ask is I have a pair of aftermarket heated grips I took of my last bike that I'd like to have added to my BoxerCup. I've fitted the electrics really neatly, but then went to fit the grips at the weekend and have only jus realis...

Thanks that's useful feedback also - I think I'll just try a Y-pipe on my standard Laser / standard filter setup then.

Who makes the Y-pipe and where can I mail-order one?

That was useful thanks. .....But what about suitable suppliers of Y-pipes, and re-mapping chips, - will my standard '04 BoxerCup Laser cans slot straight onto it. - If I stick with a standard air filter it sounds like I'll get away with just a Y-piece? How much should I expect to pay for one? M

Decatting an '04 BoxerCup - pros & cons. and how to do i

Gear Indicators such as the Acumen: R1100S analogue speedo

I'd like to fit a gear indicator to my R1100S - I had an Acumen one on my Honda previously and do miss it a bit. I see Acumen do one with a handy volt meter built-in too now. HOWEVER, I am aware the R1100S is an analog speedo and probably won't accept one - any ideas of alternative products that mig...

I secured a used boxer-accessories.de paddock stand for £45 and went with a new pair of Bridgestone 20's in the end which were what was on it. (A bit disappointed Watling fitted the 'old stock' tread pattern version of the rear). There are scrubbed in now and going well - I'm a lot more confident to...

The New R1200S Boxer-Cup Prototype pictures from LeMans

Does anyone have any photos of the prototype R1200S boxercup tested at LeMans this year (in Re/White/Blue livery)? - I would like the BMW press poster that has been cirulated in their literature recently but am wondering if anyone has any photos of it. email ms81@cant.ac.uk with any attachments - th...

What's in the BoxerCup tool kit?

Can anyone confirm what should have been in my tool kit that came with my R1100S 04 boxercup bike. Although there were a few tools clearly missing BMW South London assures me this is how they were on the boxercup. I was suprised to see no wheel nut wrench etc. and would like to restore it to as it s...

Bridgestones

What's the difference between the Bridgestone 019 and 020 - 019's fitted presently - have the 020s replaced them. I've heard the 014s are good but more trackday oriented and difficult to get upto temperature during normal road/touring use, so better off with 019s for general purpose riding?

Thanks - I wish I could speak German - a good range and I'll try and decypher that link, unfortanately as good as the shop/range look, it doesn't look like its a supplier that could get me a paddock stand promptly for a tyre change next week. Looking for UK importers/outlets really, thanks. Matthew
