Went and saw Robin last week and he was okay but has lost the use of his right side and will be in hospital for around 8 weeks - At the moment it does not look like he will be able to ride again .

Just to let you know that I heard on Sunday that Robin (KTM990) has had a stroke and is in the National Hospital For Neurology and Neurosurgery in central London - not sure how serious it is - Will try and see him this week.

Yes - at least that is what I did and seemed to work fine

When I put a full Laser system on my 1100 I just fitted the system and rode it with no problems - kept the decibel killers in though if I remember rightly - taking the cat out made it a different bike - much more responsive.

Would recommend checking the policy wording as some travel policies now limit the size of bike covered.

When I did the splines on the 1100S I used lith-moly grease as it is readily available at Hafords
