That was my pal Richard's, it had a slight mishap on the way up.

Apart from the stunning duct tape finish, it also had a gun-gummed alternator cover, but it made it home OK.

I've been there.

For whatever reason, the O-rings in the rebuild kits are too thin, which causes leaks.

You need to buy some thicker ones, but be careful to get the correct material.

Don't use superglue, it's sh!te and won't last.

Use some lacquer or clear nail varnish instead.

When I rode one it had a nice engine but iffy brakes, feeling more like a giant enduro bike than a GS. It didn't get my vote against the GS. It depends what you want, but for a road bike I'm considering a 990 SMR or SMT, as I think they're more fun than a adventure, but still capable of covering dis...

The Sky remote sets the volume on the TV directly , you just have to set the correct TV type.

Maybe yours has a similar facility?
