Re: MoT's extended

Your situation is different to mine, ie. you have tax now and needing mot on 28th March, means you can continue to ride the bike 29th onwards. Mine is on SORN now so needs an mot before I can get tax. Nope the same situation! Kat is on SORN......but the MoT is due on 28th March so not valid for an ...

Re: MoT's extended

You can legally ride to a booked MoT appointment without tax.

Just checked and annoyingly my Kat is due on 28th March.....DOH. So I'll be waiting until this sh1t has blown over, there is no point getting an MoT when I can't ride it. But I will book a test and then ride to it without tax

Re: USA`s loss is Scotlands gain

Good business if you can get it Hope you find a good place for your trip, you never know you may even be able to get into the Applecross Inn if they get cancellations, although social distancing will be a bit of problem in their bar! One of our neighbours is in the Highlands at the moment staying a...

Re: RAPID BIKE EVO

I suggest that the EVO would react to the lower air temp and initially fuel as per that temp....but then potentially tune out the fuel with the learning feature.

Why would you leave booster connected with the EVO?

Re: BoxerCup Replica N/S rear indicator

So I dropped in to the local stealer on Friday and picked up a rear holder to replace the bodged RHS one on my 1100S Figured that the connector was somewhere under the luggage grid area, so lots of bolts, panels and the rack later later........it appears to be buried deep in the wiring loom....

Re: A Scotland 2 day Meet and Ride 2020

I could well be interested. There are always good roads in Scotland it's just a bit of a faff to get there and a good reason / excuse to do so is therefore a good thing.

Re: Flip Lids ...

I've had Shoei Neotec 2 for a little over a year now. It was my first 'modular' helmet and though initially looking at an HJC modular, the integrated nature of the intercomm and the fact that Shoei helmets have been my head protection for over 30 years, swung it. It's comfy and well made. Heavier an...

Re: BoxerCup Replica N/S rear indicator

I think that they are unique to the R1100S

Is it just the 'holder' that is broken?

Re: "Is it Spring Yet?"

My 1100S is all XCP'd up and being ridden most days to work since the start of the year. As you say the weather has been relatively kind so far but a little snow (though disruptive to my preferred 'motorcycle' commute) would be nice :D
