Re: The end of the Welsh Weekend??

We will not have to worry about binge drinking at the bar as we can sit back and imbibe and watch the beautiful countryside pass us by . no one will get lost, not even Ride Captain who has been known to forg...

Re: 12S committed :)

Not sure, it`s hard to separate fact from fantasy with skills people have these days being on a track or at a pc with software applications. It`s a pretty steep lh incline he`s negotiating i`m guessing he did do that.

It`s a crackin photo though.

Re: 12S committed :)

“It is I - LeClerc!” Boxerscott reckons he will manage that - on his new R9T Racer......... For a fact, i won`t have as far to hang off, it will take less effort and I won`t need a ladder to get back on :) That looks like a bike that needs a lot of rider input to turn it. Must be the teleleve...

Re: Subframe brackets

During the Boxercup race series these lugs were the first thing to break when the pilots 'dumped' their bikes. They didn't re-frame their bikes after each smash. Have a good search on tinterweb, there is info out there on how the bike can be repaired, it will involve a bit of engineering but it can...

Re: Salesmen who can't sell!

Speaking to my indian dealer at the show he had 12 confirmed orders as of the friday, and like most new models there are different variants with the popular seller being the one with the red frame.(does not mean a thing to me) There is lots of nice detailing on the bike but i am wondering wh...

Re: Lower Drink-driving limit.... No noticeable effect.

Aye , no surprise, lets talk tough and target more punters, but the hardcore pro`s do not care. New laws in the Borders are to be passed on drinking in public places, we are talking tough again, (adequate laws already exist but are not enforced) strictly no alcohol drinking in public places ..."...

Re: Salesmen who can't sell!

I am not surprised. It is a new model and a million miles off their normal cruiser range. You must be Brave dipping your toe in for one of those. Unusual bike. It`s easy to slag the salesman off but these guys are generally treated like shxt by the biker morons out there. He was probably having a ba...

Re: do not want to piss on anyone`s parade, ..but..

I think there are several aspects of the apparent plummet in S/H values: The market seems to be awash with fairly new bikes, which although bike sales must be down on what they were decades ago - reflect the number of people who are actually on the roads. PCP has brought new-car/bike ownership to p...

do not want to piss on anyone`s parade, ..but..

With my recent experience of purchasing an 18 plate 280 mile r1200 boxer engined r9t racer, privately, i am thinking some of the used r1200 engine bikes on offer (with clutch imminent replacement mileage) may be priced unrealistically? has pcp influenced how we sell, buy and evaluate used bikes? Who...
