Hi, does anyone know of a good upholsterer on the Devon area who would be able to increase the height and padding of an 11S seat?
I also have a Sargent seat that could be up for grabs....PM if interested.

Re: Long range fuel tank
Hi Pete, I have now bought this tank from Simon. Can you tell me when the reserve light comes on - ie how many litres are left? Thanks Karl I'd say , safest bet would be to run it till light comes on , then you would know for sure on your bike. I've had three R1100S's and all put light on at differ...

Re: Long range fuel tank
I have a fuel tank for sale, it holds 24.2 litres when filled to the very brim and gives a potential range exceeding 230 miles depending on how you ride. The furthest I've been myself is 234miles with about half a litre left. My riding is all heavy traffic and filtering so a frugal rider on open ro...

11S poor starting
Hi, I have a 53 reg twin spark 11S. Everything works as it should and it is now standard except the Y piece. It is fine once started, is surprisingly quick and gives 50+MPG all of the time. It starts fine from hot, but often either takes >10 turns or a couple of attempts to start from cold, or even ...

Enhanced 11s fuel tank
An old and ongoing topic I know, but is anyone modifying, or does anyone have available a larger version of the 11s tank (say 21l or more)?

Re: 24 litre fuel tank.
Hi Pete, I know it was a while ago, but just saw your post on the modification for the 11s tank. Are you still doing them and do you have any in stock? What sort of money would I be looking at for modified - for - exchange of original tank? My bike has a disabled ABS and the larger 19Ah battery.... ...

Many thanks for all the replies, but does anyone have any views on either the Powerbronze or MRA screens, as available via Motoworks?

R1100S screens
I'm about 6'1" tall. I changed the stock BMW screen for one of the Skidmarx ones, but it is very flexy and seems to direct nearly as much air onto my bonce....I note you can also get either of 2 MRA screens (one with spoiler, one split in the middle) or a Powerbronze Doublebubble type. Does any...

Re: Oil in air box
Air filter is standard BMW one I think. Has paper fan element....
Will get on to draining it ASAP. Is it worth swapping out the Lennie's for the standard ducting whilst accessing the filter housing?
