No sailing in Sri Lanka, currently sailing around the Mull area on a friends boat that is based in Oban, a bit chilly up here after Sri Lanka.

The picture of the palm trees is blurry because it is pissing down with rain and that is a lightning flash! Same night we had a leaky roof and Sue broke her ribs! Re: Sri Lanka on an Enfield 350 Classic
After picking the bike up in Negombo we have ridden to Kandy, Trincomalee, Passidukah, Aragum Bay, Ella and Dikwella, where we are at present, we have two more days on the bike, a selection pics in no particular order from the trip so far. A lot of the pics won’t load as files to big and as a tech m...

Re: Sri Lanka on an Enfield 350 Classic
Hi Paul, as a tourist it seems as though nothing has changed since we were here in March 2020 just before Covid, we actually flew home on lockdown day in the UK, Sri Lanka had locked down 4 days earlier, fortunately we had managed get most of our holiday in, we were not actually thinking of coming b...

Re: Not Mine, yet : V100 Mandello
Never been a great Guzzi fan but a lot of the guys on the GS Forum really like the V85, some of them had the same doubts about after service and accessories as mentioned in a previous post, but it seems to be popular and gets good reviews and the V100 will most likely be the same, when I was looking...

Re: Bodycams?
A front & rear camera system was fitted on my 1200R when I got it, they blend in very well with the bodywork and are not obvious at all unless you are looking for them, plus you don’t have to worry about remembering to fit a body cam when you go out if you have charged it up in the house or usin...

Re: Heat Pumps
Same here, 45year old boiler, only 65% efficient but can still get parts for it unlike new boilers made of cheap metal that are engineered to disintegrate after 8-10 years, with suspended wooden floors and a cellar it would cost a fortune to upgrade my 120 year old house to make any form of heat pum...
