Re: My other bike needs a good polishing......
Is that a Turbo saddle I spy? : Yup ... It's more uncomfortable than I remember but (1) I was in my 30's when I used that saddle originally and now I'm nearly in my 60's and (2) I was hoping that was because I haven't got around to getting some proper shorts yet... I could do 7 and 8hr days on that...

Re: positives of the lock down
Lovely scenery. urban walking isn't quite the same! I recommissioned an old bicycle as an alternative form of transport but after more than 2 decades away from it ,my body isn't in the same gear as my brain...

You can get universal exhaust ring type gaskets but without the "ears " for the studs/ bolts and I'm not sure what carriage charges to you would be..

Re: clutch line bleed
As above, remove the screw from the bleed extension pipe , remove cable ties securing pipe , drop the extension pipe down away from paint work, behind this screw is a spring loaded ball , it can be done without a bleed nipple , just press the spring loaded ball and fluid / air will exit under pressu...

Re: Rear wheels to fit R1100s to the wider 17x5.50
Hi, has anybody fitted an R1150 RT wheel to an R1100 s non ABS? They look the same wheel, I had no confirmation from BMW Motorwerks in Holmfirth, and the wheel looks the same with the studs for the disc? Should I have any concerns? Thanks in advance Chris A 5.5" or 5" rim will obviously f...

Re: Anyone been for a ride yet?
Different Jurisdiction, not due for non essential travel release until July 20th assuming everything goes to plan . I do currently have to turn up in work every other day so I use a bike for that short commute but I think that in itself is difficult with all the hand to face interactions of using he...

Re: Boxertrix shirts and mugs available!
The print quality is ok considering that there's 4 bikes on it . The resolution/ clarity on the black 12S probably isn't as good as the lighter coloured 11S but the only other printed mug I have to compare at the moment is an Enfield version with only one bike back and front so obviously a larger im...

Re: Boxertrix shirts and mugs available!
I've just received my mug and christened it while wondering if I should have placed it in quarantine ... I guess the clothing will take a bit longer .
Thanks Paul .
Thanks Paul .

Lads, a reminder, for those with dandelions in flower on their grass, pick the flowers off before the application of weedkiller. Weedkiller will destroy a hive if any bee returns with it. Chris Weed killer is so last century Dahling, they're called wild flowers now and aren't we in the middle of &q...

Re: Mallory Park 1990
A full race rotary engine is something else alright. Locally the only time I'd ever get to hear a rotary was when some mad rally driver fitted a Mazda version to a MK11 Ford Escort or RWD Toyota Starlet. .
