Anyone know anyone who does this? @ tanneman - yes i still have original hoses on the bike &...

Caliper Rebuild (or not?)
Guys, Want to ask a question - i had a few issues with brakepads a while back whereby the garage couldn't get the wheel (front) to turn on fitting the new pads (i.e. too tight). I thus pulled the calipers off & was aiming to apply a repair kit; on further inspection the pistons (ceramic) look fi...

Guys, Pulled calipers off last night to do the rebuild; a couple of quick questions: i. The guys who did the intial attempt at fitting the pads indicted the pins are a bit worn, particularly around teh 'washer' type feature on these particular pins; can anyone confirm its worth changing these as the...

Headlight Issue (HID)
Guys, Looking for some assistance as auto-electronics isn’t my strength. Having removed flaring to clean up bike, I also removed the headlamp assembly on a R1100S (99) which has a HID 35w having been installed by a previous owner, I’ve managed to kill the main beam from working; what does work is th...

Front brake pad troubles on R1100S
Guys, My trip to get my new Pilot 4's unfortunately turned into a need for some new front brake pads; no problem, wheel is off, just do it for us.. 1.5hrs later & a little more on the CC we have to put the old pads back on temporarily.... In short the pads were gripping on both calipers & fr...

What's that belly pan?

Pilot 4's (GT) fitted for £200!
We might not have the best riding in the SW of London but at least i've managed to find reasonable priced tyres fitted: Pilot 4's (GT) fitted for the r1100s with Michelin cashback (£): £200; can't really complain for that... This price is after the £35 cashback... Could have went for the 3's for £20...

Re buying from ebay; my concern here would be i could end up with something no better than what i have now! I am still curious whether my shock is actually no good; a further colleague has indicated the front don't go quickly (i.e. can last up to 80-90k) but obviously that will ultimately depend on ...
