Excellent day out.. :) Rode up from Brum in snow `flurries`so spent the first hour defrosting, progress somewhat erratic ( more than normal :) ) as I could not feel my hands to brake/change gear, but after the first break really enjoyed the day out over some well chosen cracking roads, a nice variat...

its the riding position for me, I just cannot imagine it being as fun/involving as a normal bike, especially a sport bike.....its more like extreme cruising? :?
Also, in the event of a crash theres a good chance the engine would be forced up your jacksie :shock:

That looks very nice indeed, very envious. I love the looks of the R12s, even better than the modern incarnation in my humble opinion. I do agree with Al though, the belly pan is nice but could look better/ less `dumpy` perhaps with some subtle graphics ( emphasis on the word subtle). Very nice........

If you buying it to ride rather than as a collector (who should all be shot) then I wouldn`t pay more because its low mileage. These bikes take more than a bit of running in, they perform so much better and are nicer to ride with 12K plus miles on them, I bought one with 12K on, sold it with 20K on ...
