alternator belts go on forever ,,, nice thing is that if they do let go , its not the end of the earth , not like a cam belt , i personally wouldnt go down the just cut it off and turn the new one on , because ,, and as long as theres a reason its worth thinking about if the last belt had worn a bit...

very smart looking , although ,,, as every one knows yellow ones are the fastest ,,, it would be tempting to paint the bike to match the hp2 pan , and not the other way round ,,,,

i powder coated the rims on my last ducati , they looked great , and stayed that way for many thousands of miles , and yes it was a heavy finish , but it was very easy to wipe clean.

just out of curiosity , which battery did you opt for , i nearly bought an odyssey , but bought a yusa and a sterling power trickle charger restorer etc ,,, happy with it so far.

had mine off this morn ,,, about fifteen mins , and ten of that was making a cup of tea ,,, never does any harm , just a look , and a wash with white spirit , no grease clean and dry , and put it back ,,, mine was a wee bit noisey ,, perfect now ,,, hth

i have an 1150r at the moment ,,, bought as a non runner with a rattle , got it started , and boy was there a ratte , and then some ,,, long story cut short , baffle in the exhaust cross pipe was loose ,,, two stainless steel pop rivets later , silent ,,, its one to watch out for , cant remember if ...

comfy

a set of genuine comfy bars are well worth the bother ,,, couple of hours sorts it out , and thats allowing for heated grips ,,, huge change to comfort.
