This month's BIKE mag

Folks, This month's Bike mag has a freeby DVD givaway, containing footage of loads of bike crashes. The best one is some footage of Randy Mamola high siding his bike on a left hander, keeping hold of the handlebars, going onto the grass and 'skiing' alongside the bike with both feet on the right han...

Dickie,

Sorry about that. We were in the middle of re-organising the web site when Gromit, who owns the URL, had to go up to Edinburgh for the tattoo for a month. Should be sorted come September.

Cheers,

Sorry MV, We've been fart-arsing around with the Boxertrix.com site, with the aim of finally banishing the somewhat misleading "blackbriard" address from the forum, but we were halfway through making the changes when Gromit had to go up to Edinburgh to get a tattoo or something  . Normal servi...

Gents,

Didn't Malc manage to fit Yamaha R1 calipers on his old S? I don't remember if he made a custom adapter bracket for them or if he got one off the shelf from somewhere.

Cheers,

Ade,

Yup. It's designed for the bikes supplied with the sport length shocks (shame sh*t, just longer with a different colour spring  ).

Harry, It's a doddle. Shouldn't take you more than 5 mins tops: 1) unclip the two springs. 2) Remove the circlip, pull the cut-out switch out of the way, but note how the assembly fits over the top spring retaining post! This will save you doing the job twice when you reassemble and realise the cut-...

Hi Mountain Eagle,

Nasty crash. What happened?

I notice that you have one of those Big Mak tank bags on your S. How do you rate it? Is it worth the money?

Tried the abba stand for the first time today without much success - due mainly to the longer ohlins rear shock on the rear combined with the slightly longer sports sidestand. The floor section cannot reach in front of the sidestand and as the lift is operated the sidestand lug snags in the top of ...
