It’s lovely stuff but at up to £40 a nip - not cheap.
The locals were drinking Black Bottle when I was in the pub!

I had a wee cycling whisky pilgrimage to Islay a couple of years ago. Stayed near Bruichladdich home of the amazing Octomore. One day I had a tour round Laproaig (& collected my rent), a tour round Lagavulin and a very nice lunch at Ardbeg! My last 3 whisky purchases have been from that wee corn...
